Scotch Solitaire is another game with similarities to awesome but virtually impossibe to win La Belle Lucie.
If you like to win (which I do at least occasionally), Scotch Solitaire offers more opportunities to do so than some of the other Fan/Bell Lucie variants.
Ceiling Fan, Demon Fan, Fan Solitaire, La Belle Lucie, Scotch, Trefoil Solitaire.
The game is won when all cards have been placed on the Foundations.
One pack of cards is required.
There are 4 foundation piles.
Each Foundation pile must be started with an Ace.
The Foundations must be ascending with alternate colours.
Cards can not be removed from the Foundation piles once placed.
Individual cards only can be dragged on or around the Tableau.
Cards on the Tableau that are not under any other card are available for play.
A card can be added to the Tableau when it is one less than the card it is placed upon. The card may be of any suit.
The Ace is the lowest card, so the sequence is K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, A.
Empty Tableau spaces may not be filled.
